This recipe fills 13x9” pan

4 oz. cocoa  (can add a bit more if you like)
1 1/3 cups oil
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 Tsp vanilla (I don’t measure I just pour)
2 cups self-rising flour

Heat oven to 350, grease baking pan.  Mix the sugar, eggs, chocolate, oil and vanilla, add flour, and stir well. 

Plop greasy mixture into the greased pan, cook for approx 30 to 35 min.  Test for doneness with a fork at 30 min, and give it just a bit more if it seems too mushy in the middle.  Don’t cook it until hard.  Cut out a small forkful from center and look at the piece to see if it’s done all through.  The very top will be a bit moister and that’s ok.

If you cook too long the bottom will burn.
