Sending email to people who have not
specifically requested it is called "spam".
Spamming is a serious offense that we do not permit.
In the near future, Warwick-LakeBlackshear.com
hopes to be able to offer the local community business
opportunities that they may desire to advertise outside of our
website for.
In the event that any member of
one of these business opportunities uses advertising to promote
their business, the following is a definition of illegal
activity and what will not be tolerated here.
Abusive Usage Includes:
- Sending email to people who
have not specifically requested information from you.
- You may not forward chain
letters or any emails that even vaguely threaten bad luck or
attempt to force others to pass the letter on.
- Making phone calls to people
you do not know to sell them your products or gather new
members or clients. There are very strict laws
regarding telemarketing and rather than be in violation, it
is not acceptable to use the telephone for marketing
purposes, unless your prospective client calls you first in
response to an ad or flyer.
- Sending unsolicited email thru
third parties that then references an account here either in
the email or on a landing page of a website.
- Newsgroup, Yahoo, MSN or other
chat groups or discussion forum postings to off topic
newsgroups that prohibit those types of posts.
- In any way breaking the law or
bringing a bad reputation or damages onto this website or
it's owners.
Service Agreement Violations:
Concerning spam, our Service
Agreement reads:
"We will be the sole
arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.
This action WILL RESULT in immediate termination of your
account without refund. Member will also be subject to legal
action."
Zero Tolerance Policy:
If an account is reported or caught
violating these terms of service it will be immediately
terminated. The member will not be issued a refund, and will not
be given access to any data in the terminated account.
Questions?
There's more to spam than just
sending e-mail. Certain types of newsgroup postings and mailing
list messages can also be classified as spam, and are not
permitted on this system.
Help Us Stamp out Spam:

e-mail from us or someone representing us, please tell us.
