| Warwick is fortunate to have its own
healthcare facility. Opened in October of 1988, the center is a part
of Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.
This is a rural health clinic with a family practitioner, Dr. Milton Jones and a nurse practitioner, Patricia Stowe. The clinic handles physical exams, monitors chronic illness, treats minor illness and accidents, performs well child checkups and administers immunizations for both adults and children. Dr. Jones and Mrs. Stowe are both on the medical staff at Crisp Regional Hospital. Dr. Jones told me that he has been in the field of medicine since he was 19, and has been a doctor here in Warwick since 1997. He is from Donaldsonville, and spends Sunday through Friday in Worth County, then returns home on Saturday and Sunday where he attends the Methodist church in Donaldsonville. "Miss Pat" has been our nurse practitioner since 1982, and attends First Baptist Church in Cordele. She says that the flu shots are now available and will be offered through February.
